Catherine Brown

Co-Headteacher / Director

Catherine has a master's degree in special education needs and disability and level 7 qualifications in CPT3A, SEMH, NASENCo, and NPQH. Catherine has a strong background in SEND, including EHCPs, well-being, quality of education, management, staff development, CinC, quality assurance, and compliance.

Wendy Asher

Co-Headteacher / Director

Wendy holds a Level 5 Certificate in Education, is a Mental Health First Aider and qualified counsellor, and is currently completing Trauma-Informed training. Wendy has a strong background in well-being, pastoral care, HR, CinC, Trauma Informed, quality assurance, and staff development.

Dawn Meakin

Tutor

Dawn has an HND in sport and recreation management in sport/leisure and a Diploma in public services and leisure. Dawn has a strong background in SEND, working 20 years in SEND settings, well-being, sport, Autism, ADHC and PDA; qualified sports coach in football, hockey and volleyball; pivotal behaviour management plus team teaching, specialising in child regulation and window of tolerance.

Nikki Jenkinson

Tutor

Nikki has a postgraduate certificate in Aspergers and teaching and a BSc in textile design. Nikki has a strong background in SEND, including Autism and ADHC, well-being, management, horticulture, bricklaying, British Sign Language, and specialising in child regulation and window of tolerance.

Jada Brocklehurst

Tutor


Jada creates an environment where every student is recognised and considered, allowing them to participate effectively in their education. Furthermore, she thoroughly understands safeguarding practices and recognises their significance. Jada is currently completing her teaching qualification.

Hayley Etches

Tutor

Hayley is a trained beauty therapist who is compassionate and understanding. She specialises in autism and body language.

Kelly Hallam

Tutor

Kelly is trained in business administration, customer service and accounting who is kind-hearted and supportive. She specialises in trauma-informed and disengaged learners.

Eric Whitehead

Eric fosters relationships that enable learners to have access to an emotionally available adult. Implement trauma-informed practices and ELSA-trained. Collaborate with learners to develop skills and techniques to manage behaviour and facilitate engagement in learning.  

Alan Payne

Alan fosters relationships that enable learners to have access to an emotionally available adult. Alan specialises in Autism. He collaborates with learners to develop skills and techniques to manage behaviour and facilitate engagement in learning.
